8 Weeks Postpartum

I love the weekends because my hubby is home to help me with the baby! Mila is a very good baby, but taking care of a newborn is a demanding job! Today was Sweat Intervals day and it was a very tough workout! I maxed out at 10:18, which is my best time yet! I’m having to modify less and less, which is amazing!

I’ve also eaten some pretty delicious and healthy food today. I have been craving peanut butter, so I had an oatmeal raisin English muffin with some organic peanut butter for breakfast. Mmmmmmmm. I really need to try almond butter because I have heard that it’s better for you than peanut butter. If anyone can recommend a favorite almond butter please let me know!

I had a “superfood salad” for lunch. It has kale, edamame, blueberries, almonds, tomatoes and cranberries. I use a red wine vinegar for dressing because it has a little tang to it which I love, but doesn’t have any calories! Mmmmmmmm again 🙂

I plan to have a Shakeology for dinner. I will be on the road showing homes at dinner time (I am a Realtor) so it will be the perfect thing for me to take with me. In another 2 weeks it will be time to take my measurements and post some before and after pictures because I will be done with my first month of Insanity Max 30. I can already tell I am making progress so I am very excited! Then it will be on to month 2!

  1. I love peanut butter to! I always get the all natural one where the only ingredient is peanuts, so I feel a bit less guilty having it.

    1. That is a good idea! I have had the natural kind before but my hubby always buys the regular…grrrrrr. It’s organic but it does have the sugar in it! I need to start getting myself the natural and only eat that lol
